The Truth About Entrepreneurship: Why Integrity Matters More Than Likes

Why Social Media Feels Hard: Imposter Syndrome, Authenticity, and Entrepreneurship

Have you ever felt like everyone else has life figured out except you?

With all the tasks that come with building a business alone, when it comes to social media my brain tries everything to get out of it. "My home isn't stylish enough. My videos aren't professional enough. I don't have what everyone else seems to have" etc etc. (stupid brain)

The Pressure of Social Media

Social media highlights everyone's best moments. It makes me feel like I'm constantly behind. My reality never matches the curated images I scroll past daily.

Maybe you can relate?

Entrepreneurship: Uncovering Reality

Running a startup has shown me the truth behind flashy online promises. Entrepreneurship is demanding, messy, and uncertain. But it's also a chance to discover what's genuinely important.

I started not to get rich, not to become famous, but because I saw a need and I had a lot of experience with recovery.

During the pandemic, I saw friends suffer mentally and physically. After a life of adversity and a serious motorcycle accident I recognised I had become very resilient. I wanted to help others experience this resilience too.

Combining Fitness with the Outdoors

I knew the fatsest way to feel good was to combine fitness/movement with the outdoors, so I encouraged friends to join me. Research shows spending just 20 minutes outdoors daily can significantly lower stress, anxiety, and depression levels. Regular outdoor activity boosts happiness and overall mental health, the same goes for movement, so I will let you do the math.

We quickly became hooked, but looked for ways we could enhance our workouts and make them more fun. Nothing available worked well. That’s why I created the Swell Fit Bag—a portable solution perfect for workouts in nature.

The High Cost of Integrity

Choosing sustainable materials and ethical production methods isn't the easiest or cheapest option. I've watched other brands succeed quickly with misleading marketing and shortcuts.

A prime example is Ovrload creatine gummies. Their marketing seemed effective at first. Yet recent controversies, like the one involving influencer James Smith, reveal the risks of dishonesty. Eventually, truth catches up.

Overcoming Doubt and Living Your Truth

Entrepreneurship pushes me to live authentically. Teachers like David Bayer and Abraham Hicks emphasize acting as if your goals have already happened. Waiting until you feel completely ready means waiting forever. I'm embracing action despite my insecurities.

My commitment is clear—I refuse to compromise integrity or authenticity. I aim to help you build a healthier, happier life through genuine care and honest products.
